Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the highest quality workmanship, products, and customer service in the industry. We are looking for an effective Warehouse Associate to assist with receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

Primary Area of Focus

You will have a hands on role in the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations
• Maintaining organization standards in the Warehouse
• Perform team assistance to Door Installers and Technicians by completing required staging and assembly tasks
• Provide deliveries to other corporate locations in a safe and timely manner
• Assist in communication with other departments (doors, technicians) regarding orders that have been changed, parts missing or needed, and changes in schedule
• Accurately stage and load customer doors (Inspect for damaged materials)
• Unload and accurately receive incoming product
• Provide personal attention to door installers’ and technicians’ requests or product needs during loading
• Maintain and practice company safety policies and procedures
• Provides assistance to other departments or staff to safely conduct business
• Provide building and product security, including inventory & damage control
• Operates vehicle to transport material to assigned destinations as needed
• Assists with loading and unloading of trucks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must perform work in a non-climate controlled warehouse facility
• Extended time on your feet
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting heavy items
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license
• High School Education
• Ability to learn products and work under pressure
• Must have a clean driving record
• Mechanically inclined
• Good communication and telephone skills
• Ability to operate forklift and power tools

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting at $18-20 / hr based on experience
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision
• Sick Pay, Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay
• This position is Monday - Friday from 7: 00 am - 4: 00 pm, however, flexibility is required in the case early or late deliveries are received.
