WANTED: Commercial Garage Door Technician
Are you a skilled Commercial Garage Door Technician with experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of commercial doors? Join our team and become an essential part of our growing business!
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial garage doors, including roll-up doors, steel roll-up doors, sectional doors, and dock levelers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with commercial door systems.
- Install, program, and repair commercial openers and control systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure doors are operating safely and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a commercial garage door technician.
- Expertise in roll-up doors, steel roll-up doors, sectional doors, and dock levelers.
- Strong knowledge of commercial opener systems and related technology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and working at heights.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in commercial door systems or related field.
- Experience with both mechanical and electrical components of commercial doors.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
