Garage Door Installer

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, US, 17111

This Job Is Not for Everyone

We are looking for driven, mechanically inclined individuals who want to build a serious career in the trades.

This is not a clock-punching job.

This role is for someone who:

• Likes solving problems

• Takes pride in doing things the right way

• Wants their income to reflect their effort

• Can represent a professional brand inside customers’ homes

If you want a job where you show up, do the bare minimum, and collect a paycheck, this will not be the right fit.

If you want a career where you can develop real skills and earn $60k–$100k+, keep reading.

What You’ll Actually Do

As a Garage Door Installer with Precision Door Service, you will:

• Diagnose and repair garage door systems

• Install new garage doors and openers

• Frame door openings when needed

• Install exterior capping / aluminum trim and flashing for a professional finished look

• Educate homeowners on the finished product and ensure they understand how their new door system operates

• Perform work that you are confident putting your name and reputation behind

You do not have to know everything on day one — but you must be willing to learn framing, capping, and proper installation techniques.

Every day is different. Every job is hands-on.

You will be trusted to run your own truck and represent our company in customers’ homes.

Most installers struggle in this industry because they never receive proper training.

We do things differently.

We provide:

Professional training

Proven service systems

A full schedule of customers

Office support that handles scheduling and follow-ups

A company vehicle and equipment

You focus on doing great work and helping customers.

• Reliability — showing up on time to job sites and the office when required

• Professional communication with customers and team members

• The ability to bring your A-game every day

• Willingness to learn framing, installation, capping, and finish work

If you take pride in your work and want to be part of a team that expects the best from each other, you’ll fit right in.

• PTO and vacation

• 401k opportunities
