Inventory and Warehouse Leader Description:
The NJ Inventory and Warehouse Lead is responsible for the maintenance and organization of the Company’s Warehouse and Facilities. The Warehouse Associate will maintain inventory integrity through receiving, shipping, stock counts, etc. They will also assist the Technicians and Installers with jobs by helping to load and stock their trucks. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse and facilities clean, organized, and stocked whenever necessary. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the transport of materials, tools, and supplies between company warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in computer skills to be able to learn and use the current ERP system which is ServiceTitan.
- Excellent computer skills in Google Docs.
- Possible travel up to 5% for acquisition inventory.
- Knowledge of purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement within the purchasing job.
- Perform door pick ups at the manufacturers (CHI, Amarr)
- Work with the inventory, warehouse, door, and scheduling teams to make sure items are ordered in a timely manner to be received to meet customer demands.
- Work with AP on any discrepancies in invoicing as it pertains to POs and receipts.
- Coordinate and manage annual inventory count to include warehouses and vehicles.
- Coordinate and manage offboarding counts and reconciliation for vehicles in the markets.
- Work with managers to process inventory before and after acquisitions are completed. Will
- include travel to acquisition sites.
- Assess and improve supply flows through the area markets for completeness, accuracy, and
- Timeliness.
- Identify and address gaps in inventory processes. Create procedures to maintain accuracy in inventories across all locations.
- Create templates and calendars for cycle counting and annual inventory as needed.
- Training of new employees on the inventory processes.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent mechanical and technical skills
- Drive and willingness to Learn
- Physically able to move items weighing 75 lbs or higher.
- Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Possess interpersonal skills to relate to customers and solve issues.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to multitask
- Reliable and Self Motivated
- Must pass Drug test, Background check and Motor Vehicle check.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license.
- Proper maintenance of scheduled services and cleanliness of vehicle.
- Knowledge of computers and tablet use
- Knowledge in google search and Navigation systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of hand tools, mechanical tools, and garage door experience is a plus, but not required.
- Work full day and beyond when needed
- GED, High School Diploma, or suitable equivalent
- Ability to work and adapt in all types of weather conditions.
Compensation:
- $24-$26/ hr depending on experience
- Bonus eligible - quarterly bonus based on success of the company
- Yea End - Discretionary annual bonus based of the success of the company
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm with 30 minute lunch
- Weekend availability when needed
