A location manager is a warehouse and field supervisor with a drive to make others around him better. This person is responsible for leading a location's success on and off the field. A location manager encourages a positive culture and is responsible for increasing the teams sales, customer satisfaction and morale on a day to day basis, while being conscious of the location's productivity. The goal of this position is to make sure that each location is running smoothly. Servant leadership is a must.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls from technicians and aid with technical question
Lead team of technicians/installers while maintaining positive morale
Onboard new employees
- Provide with tablet
- Clothing
- Tools
Perform proper discipline protocol with the technicians
- Ex: poor truck maintenance, poor inventory, lateness, callbacks, problems found at callbacks
Organize employee get togethers to build positive culture and camaraderie
Promote positive culture around office
Help customers who visit showroom
Organize trash and metal pickup
Meet with customers for showroom appointments when needed
Technicians
- Help techs in field technically
- Go to repeat call backs, this is a call back that a tech went to 1 time before and did not fix issue
- Review service callbacks, provide preventative measures
- Assist technicians and installers on job sites
- Maintain and generate sales through service call and/or door estimates minimum, or installations of $15,000 per month
- Utilization is the number one priority at all times. This can be accomplished by going to call backs, service jobs, door estimates.
- Reconcile payments from previous day
Installers
- Install when needed
- Review install callbacks, provide preventative measures
- Ability to complete difficult/high end installations
Callbacks
Receive deliveries when needed
- Utilize forklift
Pull inventory
Maintain truck inventory, as well as truck maintenance including inspections, registrations, oil changes, for teams fleet
- Responsible for organization of truck registration, insurance, EZ pass
Monitor inventory, update through sheets (daily or every other day)
Create inventory orders when needed
Update graveyard doors
Order office supplies when needed
Go over installations with installers each day
Maintain building, general maintenance

Basic Qualifications:
- Maintain clean driving record
- Maintain clean legal record
- Must be a certified technician/installer
- Must be able to install garage door
- US citizen or alien authorized to work in the US
- Valid driver’s license
