Your Responsibilities as an Office Manager
As the Office Manager/Book Keeper, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of financial recordkeeping, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the smooth operation of our financial systems. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a wide range of financial tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Accounts Payable: Process invoices, track expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers. Verify the accuracy of bills and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Accounts Receivable: Prepare and send invoices to clients, follow up on overdue payments, and manage the collections process. Record and reconcile all incoming payments.
General Ledger Management: Reconcile all financial accounts and maintain the general ledger. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide financial reports to management for decision-making.
Payroll Processing: Assist with calculating and process employee payroll, including deductions, taxes, and benefits. Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax. Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the creation and management of budgets, as well as financial forecasting to support strategic planning.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to management.
Financial Audits: Prepare necessary documentation and assist with financial audits as required.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Software and Tools: Utilize accounting software and tools effectively to streamline financial processes and reporting.

Requirements for the Office Manger Role
Basic Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Full-Range Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
