Warehouse Helper

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse / Installer Helper team member to join our growing team at Precision Garage Door. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy and taking on a variety of responsibilities each day. From organizing inventory to supporting large installations, this position plays a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the warehouse, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and efficient
• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, verifying product accuracy and condition
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and doors throughout the warehouse
• Organize and maintain inventory, including garage doors and related components
• Assist installation crews on larger jobs when needed
• Pick up products, parts, and doors from vendors and suppliers
• Conduct daily checks and report any inventory discrepancies or maintenance needs
• Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage
• Support team members across departments as needed

Schedule & Pay:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays: Every other Saturday may be required, depending on business needs
• Pay: $20 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Forklift experience (certification preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to assist with field work and installations
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and on job sites

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, construction, or garage door environment
• Experience working with inventory systems
• Mechanical aptitude or basic knowledge of tools and installations
